General Description:
In a beautiful surroundings of the High Tatras, in the highest settled village Štrbské Pleso and right next to the mountain lake in a sea level of 1351 metres is situated a luxury Spa hotel Solisko. Its history started in the year 1897, when arcivoivode Carl Ludwig built his summer villa called Augusta on the most attractive place of Štrbské Pleso. Since that time, Solisko has come through many changes. The biggest one was made exactly 100 hundred years later-in 1997. After a large was reconstruction an original architecture aspect has been given back to the building. In the year 1999 was Solisko awarded by"Prix d´Excellence" in Sevilla. Its location gives you a possibility of long walks, tourist paths, cross-country skiing tracks, down hill skiing areas, cycling paths, possibility of riding in a horse coach, snow scooters, bungee jumping, paraglaiding and mainly relaxation in a wonderful mountain scenery.
